Taxonomy

Imaged specimen from 'W. Malaysia'. The holotype of A. probolopis Meyrick, 1894:477 is from Kalimantan Selatan, (Pulau Laut) (Ms. sp. rev. Shaffer 1993). It is in the NHM (Mi7424). It was once considered a syn. of A. polyphoralis Walker, [1866] 1865; Dalla Torre 1914:44.

Description

A species with brown speckling on a pale background. FW with a distinct median fascia and indications of an antemedian fascia on the FW, but these are less well defined on the HW. The basal area of the FW has darker shading especially towards the costa

Feeds on Macaranga, possibly M. fallacina, CATS accessed Sept. 2009.
