The holotype of Haritala auroralis Moore, 1888: 215, Pl.7 fig. 17, is from India [Meghalaya] Cherrapunji.

Description
Wing length: 10.5mm. One of the most distinctive Pagyda sp. in a handsome bright orange and white. The males have the elongated abdomen typical of the genus.

India (Meghalaya), Burma, W. Malaysia, Singapore, Sabah, China, Taiwan. Lowland & hill forest; <1000m.
