The female holotype of Leucinodes barcealis Walker, 1859e: 942 is in the UM Oxford.

Distribution & Habitat
Sri Lanka, Sumatra, Sarawak, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi, Mysol. It was recorded by Moulton (1912) on Mount Serambu, Sarawak. Lowland forest; <300m.
