Taxonomy
Thailand, Kao Soi Dao.
The holotype of Rhodoneura rhodosticta (Swinhoe, 1895b:298) from India, (Khasia, Cherrapunji), is in the NHM (Mi7364). The paralectotype is in the OUMNH.
Ms. syn. staccata Warren 1898:223 (Pharambara). The female type, from China, is in the NHM (Mi7384). Ms. syn. n. (Shaffer, 1991 LepIndex).
Description
18mm. A pinkish-brown species with little distinct fasciation apart from a darker overall reticulation and faint antemedian and postmedian bands on FW and a median band on the HW, which may be broad and diffuse in some specimens.
Distribution & Habitat
W. China, Meghalaya, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines. Lowland and hill forest; <1400m.
