Taxonomy
The holotype of Parapoynx turbata Butler, 1881: 586 is from Japan (Yokohama). TS of Cyrtogramme Yoshiyasu 1985b.

Description
Wing length: 7mm. A fulvous brown and white sp. with a paler median band accros both wings. Close examination of the patterning should distinguish this from Elophila difflualis. It can also be confused with the smaller Elophila melagynalis Agassiz, 1978 but that has no yellow discal spots. Reported from S.E. Borneo in Meyrick (1894a: 471). Jin (2008) re-describes the morphological characters of adult and immature stages based on Korean material. Biological characters of this sp. including host plants and photographs of adult, genitalia and immature stages are provided. Li et al. (2009: 173-174; pl. X, fig. 144; pl. XLIII, fig. 144; pl. LXXXII, fig. 144.) do the same.
