Sumatra, Prapat, Hwy III. Hypolamprus sp. 20 is a single unnamed specimen in the NHM (Mi7375).

Description

25mm. This is a species with a distinctive patterning consisting of patches of chestnut brown and paler areas covered by a reticulated pattern. The extremely falcate FW is dark basally and this color extends irregularly along the Costa.

N. Sumatra. Lowland secondary forest; <250m.

This is similar to H. illustrata and H. ocellipennis but the distribution of the dark patches and the reticulate patterning is different. See also Hypolamprus spp. 2 and 19.
