Description
Wing length: 10mm (male) and 13mm (female). Slightly sexually dimorphic with typical Eoophyla patterning in yellow, fulvous and white. The HW has two tornal eye spots. The male has a costal notch on its FW like the closely related E. becki Mey 2009. The genitalia are illustrated by Mey (2009 (m. figs. 1-4; f. fig. 17)). The males are similar to E. becki and are distinguished by the dilated tips of the spines of the valva. The unidentified sp. taxon #006 Schulze (2000) from PHS and lowland primary and secondary forest and cultivated areas (480-600m) is possibly this sp.. See the unconfirmed male & female illustrated here.
