Taxonomy
The male holotype of Eoophyla silvicola Jaenicke & Mey 2011: 48-50 is from Sabah (Mount Kinabalu NP, PHS) is in Berlin (MfNH). Several male and female paratypes were designated from Sabah, Brunei and Sarawak.

Description
Wing length: 10-12mm. Typical Eoophyla patterning in brown white and yellow. Jaenicke & Mey (2011) give a full description of male and female including illustrations of genitalia. (Pl. 10 fig 7,8, Pl. 19 figs.5-8 & Pl. 21 figs 1-8). See E. boernickei Mey.
