  • Taxonomy


    Paracymoriza sp. 1. is an unnamed specimen in the MfNH (Berlin), from Sabah (D.V.F.C).

    It is considered that a new genus should be erected for these small dark, elongate-winged spp. of the P. nigra group.

  • Description


    The FW is dark brown with a broad cream-white median band and a triangular pre-apical spot extending from the costa. The HW is silvery grey with the veins tinged brown distally. See Paracymoriza spp. 2, 3 & 4.
