  Wing length: 5.5mm. A fairly common Nymphicula sp. with four eye-spots. A similar specimen in Leiden, Nymphicula cf. stipalis Snellen [1880] has been DNA barcoded ID # (RMNH INS 19667) and the data is held in BOLD: The Barcode of Life Data System (Ratnasingham & Hebert 2007) Note N. stipalis = N. blandialis Schulze (2000) taxon # 010.
