  • Taxonomy


    Glaucocharis sp. 6. is an unnamed morphotype from Brunei, Temburong. It is in the NHM.

  • Description


    Wing length : 4.5mm. The FW of this sp. is patterned with patches of black, grey, white and some orange. There is an indistinct, curving, white basal line and a faint orange, double, orbicular spot. Towards the apex it is more slaty blue The orange apex area contains an elongate bluish spot. The HW is mainly a very pale orange-white but it is suffused with blackish towards the apex. The marginal line on both wings is white with a black outer edge a pattern repeated in the long fringes.
