    Agrotera sp. 7. A specimen in the SLS Coll. from Sabah (Danum Valley).

  • Description


    Wing length : 7mm. A small sp. which has a tiny distinct black stigma at the base of a pale orbicular patch. Like most members of the A. basinotata group the basal area of the FW and the thorax are cream speckled with orange. Distally the wings are a deep purple with brown lineation. The FW margin and fringe is chequered with purple on white. See the larger Agrotera sp. 6 which is superficially similar.
