Taxonomy
The female holotype of Glyphodes zelimalis Walker, 1859: 502 from Sarawak, is in UM Oxford.

Description
Wing length : 12mm - 14mm. Superficially similar to A. malayana and other members of the A. itysalis group with two large white areas on the FW. The HW has a large white basal area and margins with brown and iridescent purplish submarginal bands. It is easily distinguished by the submedian white area of the FW which forms a broad white diagonal band.

Distribution & Habitat
Sri Lanka, India (Sikkim, Assam), Thailand, W. Malaysia, Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak, Sumatra, W. Java, Selayer, PNG, Australia. Lowland primary & secondary forest. Occasional in disturbed areas; <580m.
