  The holotype of Coptobasis cuprealis Moore, 1877: 616: pl. 60, fig. 13 (female) is from India, Andaman Is. MS transfer to Bacotoma [1885] (Shaffer, 1997, note on LepIndex Card)

  Description

  
  

  Wing Length: 12mm. A purplish brown sp. with distinct darker submedian and post median lines on FW & HW. Platamonia oggalis Swinhoe 1906: 288 TL Meghalaya (Khasia Hills) and Botys illatalis Walker [1866], 1865: 1436 TL Sula, are similar.
