Taxonomy
The holotype of Asopia filalis Guenée, 1854: 204, is from New Guinea.
syn. Samea dives (Butler, 1880: 682): TL Taiwan.
syn. Endotricha rhodophilalis Walker, [1866] 1865: 1311. TL S. Hindustan.
syn. Botys amoenalis Walker, [1866] 1865: 1445. TL Java.
Comb. n. to Isocentris Meyrick, 1887: (Shaffer et al. 1996: 268). -
Description
Wing length: 9mm - 11mm. A bright orange and yellow sp. with a purple submarginal band and a purple blotch near the FW cell. Isocentris ranges from Africa to Japan. Of the c.15 spp. there are two in SE Asia. RTS (1994: 180).

Distribution & Habitat
Mauritius, India (Hindustan), Nepal, Thailand, Sabah, Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia (Java), PNG, Australia (W, Q, & NSW). Philippines, Taiwan, China (Hong Kong). Lowland to lower montane forest; <1500m.
