  • Taxonomy


    The female holotype of Botys macaralis Walker [1859 May] 1858: 709, from Sarawak, is in the NHM.

  • Description


    Wing Length: 10mm. A 'delicate' lightly marked Bradina sp. Uniformly a pale pink-brown. Males with the very long abdomen typical of some Bradina spp. Bradina sp. 2 may be a var of this sp.

    India (Nicobar Is.), W. Malaysia, Singapore, Sarawak, Borneo (Telang Strong), Indonesia (Java, Amboina), Philippines, PNG (Bismark Arch. (Admiralty Is.)), Solomon Is. Lowland.
