  • Taxonomy


    Glaucocharis sp. 4. An unnamed morphotype from Brunei (Kuala Belalong) is in the NHM.

  • Description


    Wing length : 4.5mm. As in all Glaucocharis spp. the FW is bifalcate It is intricately patterned with large patches of black, slate grey, orange and white.

    There is a curving white basal line and indications of a submarginal line with a black inner margin. The orange apex area contains an elongate bluish spot. The HW is mainly pale bluish grey with a black edged white marginal line and long fringes. See Glaucocharis sp. 3 which is very similar and is probably conspecific.
